Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2011 software offers compelling new techniques for creating and texturing models,

enhancements to the modeling and texturing toolset, accessed through a new
in-context user interface, help accelerate everyday workflows, while non-destructive
layered editing of Containers helps facilitate collaboration in parallel. Meanwhile,
fully-integrated, high-performance toolsets for creating, managing, and animating
characters help quickly bring scenes to life. And, with a new node-based material
editor, a high-quality hardware renderer, in-viewport display of texture maps
and materials, and a fully-featured HDR-capable compositor, creating stunning,
photo-realistic images is easier than ever.
Autodesk 3ds Max provides a comprehensive, integrated 3D modeling, animation,
and rendering solution for game developers, visual effects artists, and graphic
designers.

and texture mapping toolset, modelers and texture artists can work more quickly
and effectively.
- Advanced character rigging and animation – The fully
integrated Character Animation Toolkit (CAT) provides an out-of-the-box advanced

- FBX Import/Export for Unreal pipelines – Create
