Dane E. Johnson serves as Vice President of Sales, Manufacturing Business Unit for Advanced Solutions, Inc. Prior to joining Advanced Solutions, Mr. Johnson served for nearly 5 years in various sales management roles with Autodesk, Inc. As a Sales Executive with Autodesk, Mr. Johnson performed both in a direct sales role, developing and growing multi-million dollar business relationships with key Fortune 100 companies, as well as a "sales mentor" to sales reps within the Autodesk Value-Added Reseller channel, achieving between 109% and 150% of sales goals each year. Prior to Autodesk, Mr. Johnson held key sales positions with Centric Software (a "Design Collaboration" startup in San Jose, CA), TigrSoft (a "Supply Chain Management" solution provider from Edmonton, Alberta, CA), and SDRC (a Design Automation and Product Lifecycle Management" solution provider in Milford, OH) where he started his sales career in 1995. A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mr. Johnson spent 4 years as a Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin, performing structural design and analysis on the F-22 Raptor Advanced Tactical Fighter. Mr. Johnson developed structural models for dynamic analysis of weapons launch, jettison, and pilot ejection systems. While at Lockheed, Mr. Johnson completed advanced studies from Georgia Tech in Aerospace Engineering and Advanced Mathematics. Mr. Johnson began his career as a hand draftsman in the Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying fields, and participated in the significant transition from "the board" to CAD Workstations in the mid 1980s. This experience, and the challenge of significant change in the design area has been of great benefit as Mr. Johnson helps companies make the transition from 2D design solutions to 3D-based design and data management business solutions. In his role at Advanced Solutions, Mr. Johnson is responsible for delivering business results for the Manufacturing Business Unit. He does this by leading a team of professionals who engage with our clients with a focus on understanding key business issues, developing a solution strategy that provides both technology and process improvements, and ultimately resulting in delighted clients who are happy to do business as well as recommend ASI to others. Professional associations have included the Product Development Management Association (PDMA), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Married 21 years, Mr. Johnson has 2 beautiful daughters and lives in Franklin, TN. |
